- Signed stock movement
Increase or decrease product stock using a controlled adjustment with product selection, reference number, quantity, rate and notes.
Stock Adjustment is for controlled corrections when the physical position and system position need to be reconciled. VauPrime validates the adjustment and records it through the centralized stock transaction service instead of silently overwriting a number.
Capabilities
These capabilities mirror the stock workflows and data structures implemented in VauPrime's VauPackage inventory module.
Choose the adjustment direction explicitly before saving the inventory correction.
Select the product from the product workflow and bring its current stock into the adjustment context.
A decrease is blocked when the entered quantity is greater than the currently available stock.
Use an adjustment number and optional notes to preserve the business reason/context around a correction.
Capture both physical quantity and rate so the adjustment is value-aware rather than quantity-only.
Saving calls the centralized stock service to add an adjustment transaction with positive or negative quantity.
